I’m headed to San Francisco today with Craig and VERY excited for a week of really good Mexican food. Sadly this is my last outfit post from the Bahamas, probably much more sad for me than you! But it was so nice to look back on photos and remember how warm and humid the air was. Looking forward to heading to another warm climate. I can’t believe it’s already Easter this weekend! It sure doesn’t feel like spring here in New England yet. Stay tuned on Instagram (and follow Craig too) to see snaps from our trip. And check out the awesome giveaway below where I’ve teamed up with some fabulous bloggers for a cash prize!

FLARED JEANS AND WHITE BUTTON DOWN BLOUSE

flared jeans, old navy linen blend button down, white blouse, 70s style, vintage style, spring trends,

PHOTOGRAPHY BY CRAIG MACKAY

LINEN BLEND BUTTON DOWN (ON SALE FOR $15) // 7FAM FLARED DISTRESSED JEANS C/O // FERRAGAMO HEELS (SIMILAR FOR UNDER $100) // VINTAGE COAT (SIMILAR SPLURGE AND SAVE) // WILDFOX SUNGLASSES C/O

As I mentioned in a post a few weeks ago and recently while I was in the BahamasI’m really excited for all of the denim trends this spring. I definitely have a serious denim collection in my closet, but I think denim has come such a long way, it’s actually a really versatile option for everyday dressing. Of course if you’re in a corporate environment you’re probably not going to be wearing denim during the day but for after hours and weekend there’s nothing better than slipping on your favorite pair of jeans. After living in skinny jeans forever (don’t get me wrong I still love them) it’s nice to switch it up with a pair of flared jeans like these. I love this pair from 7FAM because the length is just right so they can be worn with a kitten heel which is not only chic but so comfortable!

PLAID MORNINGS WITH NESPRESSO VERTUOLINE

coffee, nespresso virtuoline

We all have a morning routine am I right? Mine, for as long as I can remember has started with coffee. I’ve probably had every coffee machine on the planet, the Keurig, French Press, the good old drip coffee maker, those machines at the office that are super hard to figure out and taste mostly like water. And then, I tried Nespresso. It was a few years ago at a friend’s house that I tried my first Nespresso from the Pixie, and the rest is history. Needless to say I jumped at the chance to try out the new Vertuoline machine in white. Maybe I’m a little biased because I just love the coffee (and espresso) so much, but I love the mod look of the machine in my kitchen. It couldn’t be easier to make coffee that seriously tastes better than any coffee house. I brew my favorite morning cup with milk and a little bit of honey. And notice that foam? The machine just does that, on it’s own. A year ago the Vertuoline machines were launched and to celebrate the 1 year anniversary you can get $100 off a new machine until April 4! You can purchase a Vertuoline here. They’re also sold at Target and Williams-Sonoma.
